Joseph Rosales Suspended for Three Matches Following Incident in MLS Match

Minnesota United midfielder Joseph Rosales has been suspended for three matches by Major League Soccer (MLS) after being found guilty of violating the MLS-MLSPA Joint Non-Discrimination Policy.

The incident occurred during the match against the Vancouver Whitecaps on April 27th.

During the match, Rosales confronted Whitecaps forward Emmanuel Sabbi in a verbal altercation. The league conducted an independent investigation into the incident and determined that Rosales used discriminatory language against Sabbi.

“I did not use any discriminatory language,” Rosales said.
