Stephanie McMahon Headlines the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026
In a surprising revelation during the WrestlePalooza broadcast, Stephanie McMahon was announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026.
The special announcement was made by The Undertaker, WWE Hall of Famer, who appeared with his iconic “American Badass” persona.The Undertaker, riding his motorcycle, arrived at the ring where McMahon was. After asking “Are you ready?”, he communicated the news of his induction to him.
Daughter of WWE’s former president, Vince McMahon, Stephanie held multiple roles in the company from 1998 to 2023.
She started as an account executive and receptionist in 1998.
She debuted on screen in 1999, involved in Vince McMahon’s rivalry with The Undertaker.
She became a wrestler, winning the WWF Women’s Championship in 2000.
Simultaneously, she worked behind the scenes as a director, senior vice president of creative writing, executive vice president of creative development and operations, and brand director.
McMahon continued making frequent appearances and participated in important storylines. One of them materialized when she married professional wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque in 2003.
In 2019, her appearances became less frequent due to her increasing role in the management of the company. She was appointed interim president and CEO following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against her father.
Although he resigned from his position in 2023, he has made sporadic appearances for the company.
The 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, in April.
