Stephanie McMahon, First Inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026
A shocking news shakes the world of wrestling. Stephanie McMahon, former co-CEO and chairwoman of WWE, has been announced as the first person to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026.
The surprising revelation was made by the legendary The Undertaker, a Hall of Fame member, during the WrestlePalooza broadcast on Saturday. The Undertaker, in his iconic “American Badass” persona, made a memorable entrance riding his motorcycle to the ring, where McMahon was.
After asking McMahon “Are you ready?”, The Undertaker communicated the news to him, thus marking his entry as the first figure in the 2026 class.
Vince McMahon’s daughter, former WWE chairman, held multiple roles in the company from 1998 to 2023. She began her career as an account executive and receptionist in 1998, before making her on-screen debut in 1999, involved in her father’s rivalry with The Undertaker.
Subsequently, she became a wrestler, winning the WWF Women’s Championship in the year 2000. At the same time, she continued working behind the scenes as a director, senior vice president of creative writing, executive vice president of creative development and operations, and brand director.
McMahon continued to make frequent appearances and participate in prominent storylines. One of these storylines became reality when she began a relationship and married professional wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque in 2003.
In 2019, her appearances became less frequent, while her role in the management of the company expanded. She was named interim president and CEO following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against her father. She resigned from her position in 2023, but has continued to make sporadic appearances for the company, despite not having an official position at WWE.
The 2026 Hall of Fame event is scheduled to be held during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, in April.
