Alex Antetokounmpo Joins Bucks on Two-Way Contract

The Milwaukee Bucks are about to sign Alex Antetokounmpo to a two-way contract, according to reports. The announcement was made by Alex Saratsis, general manager of Octagon. Alex, the youngest of the Antetokounmpo brothers, will join his older brothers, Giannis and Thanasis, in Milwaukee. This marks a milestone in the NBA, as it is the first time that three brothers have signed active contracts with the same team. Alex Antetokounmpo has been playing in Europe since 2024. Previously, he participated in the G League after not being selected in the 2021 draft. He played for the Raptors 905 G League team during the 2021-22 season and also had a stint with the Milwaukee G League team between 2022 and 2024. To make room on the roster for Alex, the Bucks will waive guard Jamaree Bouyea, who was on a two-way contract. This summer, Giannis led the Greek national basketball team to a bronze medal in the EuroBasket 2025 tournament, an achievement that the two-time MVP considered his greatest success as an athlete. His brothers Thanasis and Kostas also participated in that team.
