Cena Headlines WWE Wrestlepalooza on ESPN: Historic Debut on September 20th

Attention wrestling fanatics! John Cena will headline a Premium Live Event from WWE next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast on ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. The event, called Wrestlepalooza, is scheduled for Saturday, September 20th and will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Cena will share the ring with Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, promising a night full of action and emotions. Cody Rhodes, current WWE Undisputed Champion, Seth Rollins, World Heavyweight Champion, and Becky Lynch, Intercontinental Women’s Champion, promise to give their best at this event. This event will mark John Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis, which adds a special element for the fans. Wrestlepalooza is the first event held under the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, bringing live Premium events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service will premiere on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all Premium live WWE events as part of their package.

Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Entries for the event will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presales will be available on Thursday. In addition to Wrestlepalooza, two more events will be broadcast on ESPN platforms this year: Crown Jewel on October 11th and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29th.
