Stephanie McMahon Headlines the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026

Former WWE wrestler and brand chief, Stephanie McMahon, has been announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026. The surprise came during the WrestlePalooza broadcast on Saturday, when WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker made the announcement. The Undertaker, in his “American Badass” persona, arrived at the ring on his motorcycle where McMahon was.

After the question, The Undertaker revealed that McMahon would be the first to be inducted in 2026. Daughter of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon, Stephanie held multiple roles in the company between 1998 and 2023. She started as an account executive and receptionist in 1998 and debuted on screen in 1999, participating in Vince McMahon’s rivalry with The Undertaker. In addition to her role as a wrestler, where she won the WWF Women’s Championship in 2000, she also worked behind the scenes as a director, senior vice president of creative writing, executive vice president of creative development and operations, and head of brand. McMahon continued to make regular appearances and was involved in important storylines. One of them materialized when she began a relationship and married professional wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque in 2003. In 2019, her appearances became less frequent due to her growing role in management. She was appointed interim president and CEO after an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against her father. Although she resigned from the position in 2023, she has continued to make sporadic appearances at the company, despite not holding an official position. The 2026 Hall of Fame is scheduled to take place during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, in April.
