Paxten Aaronson Bolsters Colorado Rapids

The Colorado Rapids have secured the addition of American midfielder Paxten Aaronson, coming from Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany, through a five-year contract that extends until 2030. The agreement represents a milestone for the club. The signing of Aaronson, who will occupy a designated player position in Colorado’s squad, was finalized for a club-record fee. Aaronson, who will turn 22 next week, played the 2024-25 season on loan at FC Utrecht of the Dutch Eredivisie, where he accumulated nine goals and six assists in 37 league games.

“He has proven his worth in Europe, has gained valuable experience in the international arena with the United States national team, and brings a dynamic and creative presence to our midfield. He is the exact type of young and hungry player we want to build with at this club, and we are delighted to welcome him to Colorado as we strengthen a team capable of competing at the highest level”.
