Wrexham secures Callum Doyle from Manchester City

Wrexham has finalized the signing of defender Callum Doyle, coming from Manchester City, as announced by both clubs this Thursday. The young 21-year-old player joins the Championship team for a sum of 7.5 million pounds sterling (10 million dollars). The agreement between both clubs includes a clause that gives Manchester City the option to buy back the player, as well as 25% of any future transfer. Doyle has signed a four-year contract with Wrexham and joins a squad looking to establish itself in the Championship.

Doyle has been an international at various lower categories of England and has played five matches with the under-21 team. He has experience in the Championship after his loan spells at Coventry, Leicester and Norwich. The player expressed his enthusiasm for joining the club: “I am excited to join the Club.
