Bayern Munich has reached an agreement to sign winger Luis Díaz from Liverpool for a sum of 75 million euros.
Díaz, who did not participate in Liverpool’s friendly defeat against AC Milan on Saturday due to speculation about his departure, has been given permission to leave the Reds’ pre-season tour in Asia.
Sources close to the player indicate that Díaz expressed his desire to leave Liverpool in the summer of 2024, but the club remained firm while evaluating the squad’s situation and the market.

Interest in the player has been constant throughout the summer. Liverpool previously rejected offers from Barcelona and Bayern, insisting that the player was not for sale.
The club rejected a 67.5 million euro offer from Bayern earlier this month.
Díaz had the most productive season of his career at Liverpool last year, scoring 17 goals in all competitions and helping the team win the Premier League title.
The forward arrived at the club from FC Porto in January 2022, and his contract at Anfield was expiring in 2027.
