The cooperative sector boosts mobility with the 2026 Cooperative Auto Fair
The Dominican cooperative movement has taken a strategic step in the financial sector by announcing the celebration of the 2026 Cooperative Auto Fair. This event, which marks a milestone as the first vehicle financing fair organized in a unified manner by various savings and credit institutions in the country, will take place from September 21 to 26.
The initiative seeks to facilitate access to vehicles, both new and used, through competitive conditions that move away from traditional banking offers. Members of the participating cooperatives will be able to enjoy exclusive benefits designed to optimize their purchasing power.

Through this mechanism, cooperatives will pre-identify members with payment capacity, ensuring that the acquisition process is fast and fluid.
For his part, Melvin Rodríguez, general manager of Cooperativa San José, highlighted the importance of this union: “This fair is just the first step of an alliance that can be extended to other areas of service”.
Participation details
The event will take place simultaneously at the main offices of the participating institutions and at strategic exhibition points coordinated with partner dealerships nationwide. Starting September 14, interested parties will be able to access their respective cooperatives’ digital channels to consult the requirements, final terms, and complete the initial application form.
