Willie Mays Personal Collection at Auction: A Legacy for Youth
The impressive personal collection of Willie Mays, baseball legend, will be auctioned by Hunt Auctions on September 27th and 28th in San Francisco. Among the featured items is the Presidential Medal of Freedom, awarded to the Hall of Famer by former President Barack Obama. According to Mays’ wishes, all proceeds from this auction will go to provide education, training, and health services for young people through the Say Hey! Foundation, founded by Willie Mays in the year 2000. The auction promises to be a historic event for collectors and baseball fans. In addition to the presidential medal, other objects of great sentimental and historical value will be offered.- 1954 World Series ring from the New York Giants.

- Baseball Hall of Fame induction ring.
