Million-dollar robbery reported after strange event in Nagua
A young man identified as Luiyi Germosen, a resident of María Trinidad Sánchez, has filed a complaint after being the victim of an alleged robbery that occurred early last Thursday morning. According to the victim’s account, the incident took place after he and a cousin spent time with two women they met at an alcoholic beverage establishment located at the Nagua–Cabrera exit.
According to Germosen’s version, after visiting a second establishment, the group decided to move to a pool to continue the evening. The young man maintains that, after entering a room at the location, he lost consciousness and does not remember any details after that moment.
Economic loss details
Upon waking up on Saturday, after the intervention of a family member who had to force entry into the room, the victims realized that they had been stripped of a large sum of money and valuables. The complainant estimates that the value of the stolen items amounts to about 28,000 US dollars, in addition to 200,000 pesos in cash and perfumes.

We suspect that we were victims of some chemical substance used to render us unconscious, as there are visual records where one of the individuals involved handles a suspicious container before we lost consciousness.

It is important to note that, so far, the authorities have not confirmed the use of illicit substances nor have they verified the authenticity of the videos mentioned by the complainant. The case remains under investigation to clarify the exact circumstances that allowed the young man and his companion to remain unconscious from early Thursday morning until Saturday.
