Residents of the Don Bosco sector, in the municipality of Jarabacoa, have raised their voices to denounce a confusing incident that occurred during a recent operation carried out by members of the National Police. According to the testimonies collected, the conflict originated when the officers proceeded to remove a speaker from a grocery store. This action led to an exchange of words between the business owner and the uniformed officers, culminating in the merchant’s arrest and her subsequent transport by the authorities.

According to the neighbors, the detainee was handcuffed and, during the transport process, she fell to the ground while remaining in the custody of the officers.
