Justin Tucker Suspended for 10 Weeks

Kicker Justin Tucker, formerly of the Baltimore Ravens, has been suspended for the first 10 weeks of the 2025 NFL regular season. The suspension is due to a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy, the NFL announced on Thursday. Tucker, who is currently a free agent, can serve his suspension while not belonging to any team. If he signs with a franchise, he could participate in training camp and preseason games before the suspension begins on August 26. The NFL reported that the 35-year-old player will be eligible for reinstatement on November 11. The suspension arises after accusations of sexual misconduct presented by 16 massage therapists from eight luxury spas and wellness centers in the Baltimore area. The incidents allegedly occurred between 2012 and 2016, during Tucker’s first five seasons in the NFL. The Ravens released Tucker on May 5th, while the NFL was conducting an investigation into the case.

We are disappointed with the NFL’s decision. Justin has always strived to behave in a way that makes his family and community proud. He stands by his previous statements. To put this difficult episode behind him and return to the field as soon as possible, we have advised Justin to accept this resolution and close this matter.

Rob Roche, Tucker’s representative
Tucker has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, calling the accusations “unequivocally false” and describing the original article as “desperate sensationalism”. The Ravens cut Tucker with three years remaining on a four-year, $22 million extension, which at the time made him the highest-paid kicker in the NFL. He was the Ravens’ longest-tenured player and the last remaining from the Super Bowl-winning team in 2012. Tucker, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, holds NFL records for his field goal conversion percentage (89.1%) and for the longest field goal in league history, with a 66-yard kick in 2021. However, he was coming off the worst season of his 13-year NFL career. He missed 10 kicks in total, three more than in any previous season. His 73.3% (22 of 30) field goal conversion rate last season ranked him 31st in the NFL.
