Dominican Republic Ready for the Caribbean Series Kids 2025
The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) has announced the official roster of the team that will represent the country in the Caribbean Series Kids 2025. This exciting event will take place from July 7 to 13 at the Forum La Guaira stadium in Venezuela.
The Dominican selection will seek to revalidate its champion title in this international competition. The team will be led by former Major League player Anderson Hernandez.
The national team is made up of young talents under 13 years of age, who were selected after their outstanding participation in the VI U-12 National Championship “Robinson Canó Cup”, organized by the Dominican Baseball Federation (FEDOM).
The roster includes promises from national baseball from various leagues and academies in the country. The Board of Directors of LIDOM, composed of the six franchises of the winter circuit and its president, Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, support this initiative.
Selected Players
- Infielders: Yeison Manuel De los Santos, Erick Enmanuel Claudio Peña, Bryan Stif Zapata Pérez, Christopher Omar Ayala Reyna, Jeuris Daniel Valerio Abreu, Marvin Alexander Rodríguez Molina and Greiffrel Arias Hernández.
- Gardeners/Pitchers: Yousel Kelly Barett, Carlos José Rodríguez Mateo, Kelvin Darwin Reyes Bautista, Everth Gabriel Quintana Feliz, Anyelo Feliz, Johan Sebastián Yan Gil and Dilan Michael Ortiz de la Rosa.
- Receivers/Pitchers: Jadiel Augusto Zayas Vargas and Johan Sebastián Yan Gil (dual role).
- Pitchers: Eliezer Darío Veras (left-handed) and Ángel Rafael Franco Núñez (right-handed).
Support Staff
The team will have Pavel Aguiló as general manager and Valentín Contreras as operations director. The staff also includes Ernesto Gabriel (operations assistant), Gaby Núñez (logistics) and Anderson Luna (head of security).
