Resounding Success at the “El Triángulo” Rally: A Boost for Tourism and the Economy in Constanza
Constanza – La Patrulla del Monte celebrated the sixth edition of the “El Triángulo” rally with great success last weekend. The event, which attracted more than 500 competitors, had a significant impact on tourism and the economy of the northern region of the country. The competition began in Santo Domingo, completing its first stage in Santiago, where the participants made a stop at the Second Brigade of the National Army. The next day, the rally continued its route from Santiago to Constanza, including the emblematic Valle Nuevo National Park.The authorization from the Ministry of Environment, led by Paino Henríquez, made it possible to complete the tour, complying with all environmental protection regulations. The 2026 edition of the “El Triángulo” Rally set a participation record, establishing itself as one of the most attended events of its kind in the country. The activity generated a positive economic impact in Constanza, evidenced by the total occupancy of hotel rooms during the weekend. The event culminated with a celebration at the Hotel Nueva Suiza, in Constanza, with performances by Omega and Secreto. The rally was supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Environment, the National Army, the National Police, Digesett and Politur, in addition to the support of the mayor’s office, the governorship, deputies and other representative sectors of Constanza.Valle Nuevo had not been crossed in the last six years due to an environmental resolution.
