The Dallas Wings and the WNBA Draft: Who are the future stars?

The Dallas Wings once again have the first pick in the WNBA draft. League history suggests that two consecutive top picks can be a big boost for a franchise. Sunday’s draft held no surprises, as the top five teams maintained their positions. In the mock draft prior to the draft, Awa Fam, a Spanish player, was projected as number 1. However, after Azzi Fudd’s shooting exhibition at the Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase, attention is focused on the UConn guard. WNBA labor negotiations are ongoing, and before the April draft, there will be more information about each team’s composition. For now, this is the latest mock draft.
