Caitlin Clark joins the select group of Nike athletes with her own line
The Indiana Fever star, Caitlin Clark, has reached a new milestone in her career: she becomes a Nike-signed athlete. The first pick of the 2024 WNBA draft was unveiled on Monday as the newest athlete signed by the iconic sports brand. This involves the launch of a new personal logo, a sportswear collection, and eventually, signature sneakers.Clark’s logo features two intertwined “C”s and a smaller, hidden “C”. According to Nike’s statement, this represents his “magnetic connection with fans around the world who are drawn to his unwavering confidence, his steadfast commitment, and his remarkable shooting ability.” The clothing collection with its logo will include t-shirts, hoodies, shorts and long pants for all ages, as well as premium garments for adults. It will be available from October 1st. A t-shirt with the logo in navy blue and yellow will go on sale earlier, on September 1st. The first Clark sneakers and clothing collection will launch in 2026, according to Nike. She will join other Nike athletes like A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu, who also have signature sneakers. Clark, the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Division I history, has been a Nike athlete since 2022. In 2024, she signed a long-term contract with the sports brand worth $28 million, considered the most lucrative endorsement deal for a women’s basketball player. Monday’s news reflects one of the central pillars of that expanded partnership.I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world. I am excited to share a first look at what we have started to create together.
Caitlin Clark
Clark set numerous records during her debut season in the WNBA and finished fourth in the MVP voting. However, she has been limited to only 13 appearances out of the Fever’s 37 games in 2025 due to injuries. At Nike, we’ve always been inspired not only by the world’s best athletes, but also by those who elevate the spirit of sport itself. Caitlin is an example of both: an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game.
