Liverpool manager Arne Slot took full responsibility for his team’s “very bad” defeat to Nottingham Forest, which resulted in a 3-0 score. This defeat, the sixth in seven league matches, equals Liverpool’s worst loss at Anfield in the Premier League. This defeat represents Liverpool’s worst home loss since their encounter with Manchester City in 2021, where they lost 4-1. “It’s difficult to measure how bad it was, but it was very bad. Playing at home and losing 3-0, no matter which team you face, is a very, very bad result,” Slot stated.

“Of course there’s a way out, especially with the quality of players we have.
