Leroy Sané joins Galatasaray: A stellar signing for the Turkish champion
Galatasaray, the current champion of the Turkish Super League, has finalized the signing of German winger Leroy Sané, from Bayern Munich, with a three-year contract. The official announcement was made this Thursday, marking a milestone for the club and a new stage in the footballer’s career.
According to information provided by the club, Sané will receive a guaranteed annual salary of 9 million euros (approximately 10.4 million dollars) per season, in addition to a net loyalty bonus of 3 million euros (3.5 million dollars) per season. The player will officially join Galatasaray on July 1, as a free agent, after his contract with Bayern ends at the end of June.
Sané arrived at Bayern in 2020, after signing a five-year contract from Manchester City. In his time at the English club, he won the Premier League in 2018 and 2019.
