Scottish footballer Andy Robertson has praised his national teammate Scott McTominay, highlighting his successful season at Napoli, driven by the desire to prove his worth.
McTominay joined Napoli last summer for £25 million, after eight seasons at Manchester United, where he often faced criticism. In his first season in Serie A, McTominay scored 12 goals from midfield, contributing to Napoli’s title and being awarded the league’s Most Valuable Player.I think he went there with a point to prove. He wanted to prove Manchester United wrong and prove the Premier League people wrong. He’s gone there and done it quite successfully.

Robertson highlighted McTominay’s determination and his impact on the Scottish team.
McTominay played 178 league games for United, scoring 19 goals, but never managed to establish himself as an undisputed starter at the club.
