Manchester City has not yet received a formal offer for Jack Grealish, despite having put the English midfielder on the transfer market this summer.
Grealish has been excluded from Pep Guardiola’s squad for the FIFA Club World Cup, which begins on Saturday in Miami, with the intention that he take the time to finalize his departure from the Etihad Stadium.
City will begin its participation in the Club World Cup against Wydad AC on Wednesday in Philadelphia. On Friday, they held their first training session at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
Grealish’s representatives have received calls from clubs, some in the Premier League, expressing interest. However, City has not yet received any formal contact regarding a transfer.
Grealish, 29 years old, still has two years left on his contract and City’s directors are considering all options to facilitate his departure. A loan for one season has not been ruled out.
City is also trying to transfer Kyle Walker, who is not in the squad for the Club World Cup.
We warmly welcome this announcement from the club, which makes attending matches more accessible and ensures a vibrant atmosphere.
