Gabriel Magalhães Extends His Arsenal Contract
Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães has secured his future with the club by signing a new long-term contract that will keep him at the team until 2029.
The 27-year-old player joined the club in 2020 and has been a key player ever since, accumulating 210 appearances and scoring 20 goals, a remarkable figure for an Arsenal defender.I arrived here as a young player and after almost five years I am very happy and have learned a lot. I am very proud of myself, it’s an incredible journey and I am very happy to continue it. I hope to win some trophies with this club, because I love this club and my family also loves the club.

The Brazilian defender also expressed his pride and gratitude for the support received, highlighting his love for the club, its supporters, and his teammates.
Magalhães, who scored on his Arsenal debut, has been part of the team that won the Community Shield and was included in the PFA Team of the Year 2024-25. A hamstring injury suffered in April against Fulham prevented him from playing the final matches of the 2024-25 season, during which Arsenal managed only three wins in eight Premier League matches.
