Gareth Bale Highlights Ousmane Dembélé as Favorite for the Ballon d’Or
Welsh star Gareth Bale has expressed his opinion on the next winner of the Ballon d’Or, pointing to Ousmane Dembélé, of Paris Saint-Germain, as the main candidate to take home the prestigious individual award. Dembélé and PSG are preparing to face Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final, seeking to crown an exceptional season with one more title. The Parisian team has already secured Ligue 1 and, decisively, conquered its first Champions League, after defeating Inter Milan 5-0 in Munich last May. Dembélé has been fundamental in PSG’s recent success, with impressive statistics of 35 goals and 16 assists in 53 matches during the season.
The PSG also won the Coupe de France and the Champions Trophy this season. If Luis Enrique’s team wins the Club World Cup, they will complete the campaign by taking all the titles at stake.“Yes, I think so. You also have to look at what the teams have won.
