Attention football fanatics! Darwin Núñez has finalized his transfer from Liverpool to Al Hilal of the Saudi Professional League, marking a significant change in his career.
The 26-year-old Uruguayan striker has sealed his agreement with the Saudi club for a sum close to 53 million euros.
Liverpool Football Club has made official the permanent transfer of Darwin Núñez to Al-Hilal, pending international approval.
Núñez’s time at Liverpool spans three years.

Núñez arrived at Anfield in June 2022 from Benfica for an initial fee of 64 million pounds.
During his time with the “Reds”, he scored 40 goals in 143 appearances, although he only started in eight Premier League matches in the previous season.Darwin Núñez was wanted by Al Nassr in January, but Liverpool rejected a £60 million offer, as they did not want to sell the player mid-season.
Núñez expressed his desire to leave this summer, but Liverpool dismissed a proposal from Napoli.
Núñez’s departure, after some unconvincing performances, boosts Liverpool’s income from sales to almost £200 million this summer. Furthermore, it opens a gap in the attacking line, which has already been reinforced with the arrival of Hugo Ekitike.
Liverpool maintains its interest in Alexander Isak from Newcastle.
