Arsenal has finalized the signing of Noni Madueke, coming from Chelsea, as confirmed by the club.
Sources indicate that Arsenal agreed a sum of £48 million ($64.6 million) plus £4 million in add-ons for the 23-year-old player, who joins on a five-year contract.
Chelsea had acquired Madueke from PSV Eindhoven in 2023 for £30 million.
It is understood that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is a big admirer of Madueke, and the club considered signing him last year.Noni Madueke se une al Arsenal procedente del Chelsea. This summer, the new sporting director, Andrea Berta, led the negotiations, and Madueke becomes the fourth major signing of the window, after Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Nørgaard and Martín Zubimendi.
Madueke featured in 46 matches across all competitions for Chelsea last season, scoring 11 goals, and sources report that his fitness is a key factor in the signing, along with his versatility.
While his ideal position is as a right winger, where Bukayo Saka plays, Madueke has also proven to be more than capable on the left.
