Immanuel Feyi-Waboso moves towards his return to action after being included in England’s latest training squad. In addition, Rekeiti Ma’asi-White receives his first call-up.

The 33-player group does not include those from Bath or Northampton Saints, nor those selected for the British & Irish Lions.

This two-day concentration gives head coach Steve Borthwick the opportunity to assess some players on the fringes of the squad. This is done in preparation for the match against France XV on June 21 at Twickenham and the summer tour of Argentina and the United States.

Feyi-Waboso is included after undergoing shoulder surgery earlier in the year, which kept him out of the Six Nations and the selection for the Lions. His presence is encouraging news and gives him the opportunity to prove his fitness, in case a spot on the Lions tour arises.

Ma’asi-White, Sale Sharks’ center, is selected as one of the new faces in the team. Other players who also receive the call are Joe Batley, Richard Capstick, Arthur Clark, Emeka Ilione, Jack Kenningham, Charlie Atkinson, Seb Atkinson, Joe Carpenter, and Tobias Elliott.
