England Recovers Key Stars for Women’s Rugby World Cup Semi-Final

The English women’s rugby team is preparing for a crucial semi-final match in the World Cup, and good news arrives for the fans. Ellie Kildunne and Hannah Botterman, who were recovering from injuries, have been confirmed for the match against France, which will be played in Bristol this Saturday. Both Kildunne, who plays as a fullback, and Botterman, prop, suffered injuries in the last group stage match against Australia. In addition, Zoe Harrison, in the fly-half position, and Abbie Ward, in the lock, also return to the starting team. Both players had started on the bench in the quarter-final match against Scotland. Kildunne had to be substituted due to a concussion against the Wallaroos, which kept her out of the game for 12 days. For her part, Botterman suffered a back spasm.

Mitchell also commented on the next rival:

“France has faced challenges, and that will drive them, we hope. We don’t need to be perfect, just effective, focused, and ready for battle. We are excited and ready to hunt them.”
