Steve Tisch, Giants Co-Owner, Linked to Jeffrey Epstein in Released Documents
New documents declassified by the Department of Justice reveal connections between Jeffrey Epstein, convicted of sex offenses, and Steve Tisch, co-owner of the New York Giants. The files, which comprise millions of documents, include numerous emails detailing the relationship between the two. The name Tisch appears at least 440 times in the documents published so far. The correspondence, which ranges from everyday exchanges to more explicit conversations, sheds light on the nature of their relationship.According to the documents, most of the correspondence between Tisch and Epstein dates from around 2013. In one of the emails, Epstein appears to be introducing Tisch to a woman named Katya.“We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments,” Tisch stated in a statement. “I didn’t accept any of his invitations and I never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone with whom I deeply regret having had any relationship.”

Another email exchange in May 2013 suggests that Epstein tried to connect Tisch with another woman. In an email from May 13, it reads: “Jeffrey Epstein is very excited for us to meet.” Tisch responded by proposing a meeting.
Two days later, Epstein wrote to Tisch: “she is traveling. I am not sure when she returns to Florida. She is a microbiology student and still in college, so I doubt she can travel during the week, but we’ll see. You should also make it clear that you will arrange her ticket.” Tisch responded later: “I never knew about her. Oh, well…” In another email thread from April 26, 2013, Epstein and Tisch discuss a “Ukrainian girl.” In one of the messages, Tisch asks Epstein about her, to which Epstein responds with details about the young woman. Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges, was found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019. His death was ruled a suicide. Epstein faced accusations of child sexual abuse and was known for his connections to prominent figures. Epstein’s former associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was also implicated and convicted on related charges, and is currently serving a 20-year sentence. The Department of Justice has released a large number of documents related to Epstein, complying with the Epstein Archives Transparency Act, aimed at revealing what the government knew about the financier’s sexual crimes and his interactions with influential people. In the files, Josh Harris, owner of the Washington Commanders, Philadelphia 76ers, and New Jersey Devils, also appears. However, the correspondence with Harris was through his assistants and referred to Epstein’s attempts to organize business meetings. A Harris spokesperson stated that “Josh Harris never had an independent relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Harris sought to avoid Epstein’s attempts to develop a corporate relationship with Apollo. As these emails indicate, Harris sought to avoid meeting with Epstein, canceling meetings and having others return his calls.” Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche indicated that the latest publication included about 3 million pages, as well as more than 2,000 videos and 180,000 images.
