Kyle Hamilton Signs Historic Extension with the Ravens
All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton and the Baltimore Ravens have finalized a four-year, $100.4 million contract extension. This contract sets a new NFL record, becoming the most lucrative deal for a safety in league history.
The agreement, according to agents Kyle McCarthy and Brian Murphy of Athletes First, includes $82 million guaranteed. This figure far exceeds the previous record of $45 million for a player in this position.
Additionally, the average annual value of the contract, which amounts to $25.1 million, positions Hamilton above Kerby Joseph of the Detroit Lions, who had the highest contract for a safety at $21.25 million.
This extension ensures Hamilton’s stay in Baltimore until the 2030 season.
Hamilton, 24, has been recognized as All-Pro and has participated in the Pro Bowl in the last two seasons. Since he was selected in the first round in 2022, he has accumulated five interceptions, forced three fumbles, and recovered one.
