The IMPD previously reported that it was investigating an incident between two men that occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday. Although it did not identify the men in its initial statement, the police indicated that one of them suffered lacerations and the other, injuries consistent with stabbing. The detectives reviewed video footage of the confrontation, which according to the police, took place in the popular Wholesale District nightlife district, near the Indiana state capitol.
