Josh Jacobs had a courageous performance in Sunday’s game, despite not feeling in optimal physical condition. The Green Bay Packers running back demonstrated his worth on the field, accumulating impressive numbers despite the circumstances.

Jacobs: An Outstanding Performance Despite Difficulties

Despite feeling unwell and having to deal with stomach problems before and during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Jacobs achieved an outstanding performance. He accumulated 150 yards from the line of scrimmage and scored two touchdowns, demonstrating once again his ability to overcome any adversity.

“I just woke up this morning not feeling my best,” Jacobs commented. “But I told them: ‘The last time I felt like this, I had 130 [yards] and two touchdowns.’ So, it is what it is.”

To which he replied that they would fix it.After a slow start for the Packers’ ground game at the beginning of the season, Jacobs has been on a roll in the last two games. On Sunday, he ran 18 times for 93 yards, including touchdown runs of 3 and 4 yards, and caught five passes for 57 yards. This came after a strong finish in the Week 4 tie against the Dallas Cowboys, when he ran for 86 yards (including 70 in the fourth quarter and overtime) with two touchdowns and caught four passes for 71 yards.Jacobs became the sixth player in Packers history with at least 150 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in consecutive games, and the first since Ahman Green in 2001.The Player of the Match award, however, did not go to Jacobs, but to kicker Lucas Havrisik.
