Nikola Đurišić Joins the Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks have officially announced the incorporation of Nikola Đurišić, a player who joins the team after his time in the NBA G League during the last season. The announcement was made this Friday, marking a new chapter in the young basketball player’s career.
Đurišić, 21, participated in 32 games with the College Park Skyhawks in the 2024-25 G League season, where he averaged 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. He was selected in the 43rd overall pick of the 2024 NBA draft. The Hawks acquired his rights in June 2024, via a three-team trade involving Miami and Houston.
The 6-foot-8-inch forward-guard stood out in the Adriatic League during the 2023-24 season, ranking sixth in scoring, with an average of 15.4 points in 30 games played for Mega (Serbia).
The terms of Đurišić’s contract with the Hawks were not revealed.
