Cooper Flagg, the first draft pick, led the game with 31 points, showcasing his scoring ability. Meanwhile, Dylan Harper, chosen second, impressed in his debut with 16 points in just 20 minutes, after recovering from an injury.The atmosphere at the Thomas & Mack Center, with the presence of current players, NBA legends, and celebrities, was electrifying. Harper scored the first points of the game, while Flagg and Harper, although they started a bit slow, offered highlights. Flagg, despite some defensive challenges, managed several trips to the free throw line, demonstrating his aggressiveness on the court.There’s no better time to return than in a game like this and with such an electrifying fanbase.

Flagg’s third quarter was especially memorable, with a play that included a layup and a spectacular dunk, as well as a defensive block at the end of the quarter.They want to see me be aggressive and do those kinds of things. I think I did much better today, getting to the line, getting fouls, and that helped me feel comfortable and settle in early.

Harper also shined with an impressive block and finished the second quarter with an ‘and-1’, giving the Spurs the lead at halftime. Harper finished the game with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block, while Flagg recorded 4 rebounds, one assist and a block.Just keep making the right plays.
