Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse hosted a vibrant 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, held on Saturday, July 19th. The event, marked by an exceptional offensive display, culminated in Team Collier’s victory over Team Clark, with a final score of 151-131.
Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier emerged as the central figure of the night, setting a new record with 36 points and securing the coveted MVP title.
Caitlin Clark, star of the Indiana Fever, and Collier were the captains chosen for the All-Star game, after leading the popular vote. Clark, despite obtaining the most votes (1,293,526), could not participate due to a groin injury. The festivities began on Friday the 18th, with the New York Liberty players demonstrating their superiority. Sabrina Ionescu conquered her second three-point contest in three years, and Natasha Cloud took the title in the skills challenge. The event was affected by injuries to several stars. In addition to Clark, Rhyne Howard (knee) and Satou Sabally were also out of the competition.
