Juan Soto and Wilyer Abreu shone with the bat by hitting two home runs each, thus leading a standout day for Latinos in the Major Leagues.

Mets vs. Diamondbacks

Juan Soto of the New York Mets showcased his power by hitting two home runs and driving in three runs against the Arizona Diamondbacks. In addition to scoring two runs, Soto added his second two-homer game against Arizona this season.

Puerto Rican Francisco Lindor contributed with a run scored and two RBIs, while Venezuelan Luis Acuña scored and drove in a run for the Mets.

Red Sox vs. Rangers

Wilyer Abreu, of the Boston Red Sox, also shone with two home runs and three RBIs. Alex Bregman added a home run and three RBIs to secure Boston’s victory.

Cuban Aroldis Chapman (5) earned the save despite allowing a home run.

For the Rangers, Cuban Adolis García hit a home run and drove in two runs.

Astros vs. Cerveceros

Houston Astros’ Jeremy Peña hit a home run and drove in four runs, while his compatriot Framber Valdez (2-4) pitched seven innings, allowing one run and striking out seven, to lead the victory.

Isaac Paredes, from Mexico, scored and drove in a run. Yainer Diaz, from the Dominican Republic, produced two runs and Jose Altuve, from Venezuela, scored a run for the Astros.

Elvin Rodríguez, of the Brewers, was punished with six runs in 3.1 innings.

Phillies vs. Rays

Cristopher Sánchez (4-1), from the Dominican Republic, pitched six innings of one-hit ball and struck out five batters, securing the victory. Taijuan Walker (1), from Mexico, pitched three scoreless innings and struck out seven.

Johan Rojas, from the Dominican Republic, scored two runs and drove in one for the Phillies.

Yandy Díaz, from Cuba, and Junior Caminero, from the Dominican Republic, connected the only two hits for the Rays.

Mariners vs. Athletics

Rowdy Tellez, from Mexico, hit a three-run home run, and Leody Taveras, from the Dominican Republic, scored and drove in a run for the Seattle Mariners.

Randy Arozarena, from Cuba, scored a run. Eduard Bazardo (1-0), from Venezuela, won the game and Andrés Muñoz (12), from Mexico, earned the save.

Miguel Andújar, from the Dominican Republic, scored and drove in a run for the Athletics.

Guardians vs. Nationals

Carlos Santana, from the Dominican Republic, produced three runs and Ángel Martínez, also Dominican, drove in two runs for the Cleveland Guardians.

José Ramírez, from the Dominican Republic, scored and drove in a run. Gabriel Arias, from Venezuela, scored a run, and Brayan Rocchio, also Venezuelan, had a run scored. Emmanuel Clase, from the Dominican Republic, secured the save.

Amed Rosario, with two RBIs, and Luis García, with a run scored and an RBI, stood out for the Nationals.

Yankees vs. Padres

JC Escarra, from Cuba, with a sacrifice fly, drove in the winning run for the New York Yankees in the tenth inning against the San Diego Padres.

Trent Grisham drove in Venezuela’s Oswaldo Cabrera with a home run for the Yankees.

Xander Bogaerts drove in a run, and Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr. scored for the Padres.
