ATLANTA, U.S. – Dominican José Ramírez continues to consolidate his stellar career with the Cleveland Guardians, setting an unprecedented milestone in the franchise’s history.

Ramírez became the first Guardians player to hit at least one home run against each of the remaining 29 Major League teams.

This achievement materialized last Saturday during the game against the Atlanta Braves. In the first inning, Ramírez hit a solo home run against pitcher Martín Pérez.

The hit, which traveled 408 feet to left field, recorded an exit velocity of 108.1 miles per hour.

This was the second home run of the season for the third baseman and the number 287 of his career, bringing him closer to a historic mark.

Ramírez is close to joining the select group of players with 300 home runs and 300 stolen bases, starting the day with 289 steals.

This new achievement adds to a remarkable week for the Dominican, who recently became the Guardians’ historical leader in games played.

With his consistent performance, Ramírez solidifies himself among the most important figures in Major League Baseball, thus continuing his legacy in the history of his team.
