Los Alcarrizos Vibrates with its First Softball Classic
Los Alcarrizos is in the midst of celebrating its first Softball Classic, a sporting event that promises excitement and competition. The initiative, which involves eleven teams from various sectors of the municipality, seeks to promote community integration and highlight local sporting talent.
The tournament, organized by councilman Ángel Medina, aims to promote sporting activities that encourage healthy competition and recreation among residents. The matches are taking place simultaneously on three playing fields, attracting numerous athletes and soccer fans.
The event boasts an attractive prize pool exceeding RD$200,000, ensuring a high level of competition among the participating teams. This financial incentive is a key factor in motivating athletes and raising the level of the tournament.
The Softball Classic has received the support of Mayor Junior Santos, the Ministry of Sports of the Dominican Republic, congresswoman Rafaela González, and local entrepreneurs. This collaboration demonstrates the commitment of various entities to the development of sports in the community.
