With this victory, the Lakers take a 3-0 lead in their first-round series of the Western Conference playoffs. The game, which was played at the Toyota Center, seemed destined for defeat for the Lakers, who were down 95-101 with only 41 seconds left in the final quarter. However, James’ experience and leadership were crucial in changing the course of the match.
