Gigantes del Cibao Confirm Jefry Sierra as Manager

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS – The Gigantes del Cibao have officially announced the ratification of Jefry Sierra as the team’s manager for the remainder of the season. Sierra took over the position on an interim basis recently. The news was announced by Alfredo Acebal Rizek, president of operations for the franchise, who expressed the organization’s full confidence in Sierra’s work, leadership, and ability to guide the team in this crucial stage of the championship.

“Jefry has our full support and the necessary confidence to continue performing his work in the best way. We firmly believe in his ability and his leadership within the clubhouse,” stated Acebal Rizek.

In addition to Sierra’s confirmation, management also ratified Kremlin Martínez as bench coach, ensuring the continuity of the coaching staff during the All-Against-All phase. Currently, the Gigantes del Cibao have a record of 0-4 in the semifinal phase. This Thursday, the team visits the Águilas Cibaeñas at the Cibao Stadium in Santiago, marking the second match between both teams in this stage of the tournament.
