Latin Baseball Hall of Fame Announces 2025 Ceremony in Punta Cana
PUNTA CANA, RD. – The Latin Baseball Hall of Fame, along with its International Exaltation Committee, has officially announced the celebration of the Exaltation Ceremony of the 12th Class of 2025. The event, scheduled for Monday, February 16th in Punta Cana, promises to be a milestone in the history of Latin American baseball. During the ceremony, five baseball legends who left an indelible mark on Major League Baseball and worldwide will be honored:- Bartolo Colón, Miguel Tejada, and Julio César Franco, representing the Dominican Republic.
- Adrian Gonzalez, representing Mexico.
- Francisco Rodriguez, for Venezuela.
Robinson Paredes, executive director of the Latin Baseball Hall of Fame, also indicated that the ceremony will be attended by special guests, celebrities, sports personalities and senior MLB executives, as well as representatives from various organizations related to the honorees’ careers. The official activities will take place at the Lopesan Hotel, one of the most prestigious hotel chains in the Bávaro–Punta Cana area, which will serve as the setting for this important event. With this exaltation, the Latin Baseball Hall of Fame reaffirms its commitment to preserve, honor and project the legacy of Latin American players, consolidating itself as an institution of international reference. This institution is the result of a vision conceived more than 15 years ago by Don Roberto Weill and Rafael Ávila, an initiative that has evolved to achieve a high level of prestige and recognition worldwide.The event will be organized with the highest quality standards, ensuring that the exalted players will experience a unique moment when receiving their official pass to immortality.
