UNITED STATES – Colorado Rockies outfielder Tyler Freeman has shown positive signs after leaving Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to dizziness. The Rockies fell 12-3 in that game.
According to leader Warren Schaeffer, the results of the blood tests performed on Freeman were “quite good.” His progress will be evaluated daily.
Freeman, who started the game in right field and participated in the defense in the first inning, was substituted before his turn at bat by TJ Rumfield.
Freeman’s presence at Coors Field the next day has generated optimism in the team about his health.
In the current season, Freeman has been a key player for Colorado, with a batting average of .294 and five RBIs in 12 games. The utility player began the season on the injured list due to back problems, which has limited his participation.
Despite these setbacks, Freeman has proven to be one of the team’s most consistent hitters when he has been available.
The Rockies will continue to monitor Freeman’s condition in the coming days, hoping to keep him active during the demanding Major League season.
