Fedom is Preparing for the Caribbean Series Kids and the U-12 World Cup

Santo Domingo, D. N. – The Dominican Baseball Federation (Fedom) announces the start of practices to form the team that will represent the country in the 2nd Caribbean Series Kids and in the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025, following the success of the 6th National U12 Championship “Robinson Canó Cup”.

The practices will be held on Friday, May 23rd and Saturday, May 24th at the IPL Academy in El Toro, Santo Domingo Este, starting at 9:00 in the morning.

There are 62 children called up for the pre-selection, who will seek a place on the Dominican team for the Caribbean Series Kids and the WBSC U12 World Cup.

The Caribbean Series Kids will be played from July 5 to 13 in La Guaira, Venezuela, and the U12 World Cup, from July 25 to August 3, will be held in Chinese Taipei.

In the past U12 National Championship, Santo Domingo Province was crowned champion, demonstrating the great talent existing in this category.

In the U-12 World Cup, the Dominican Republic will share Group B with the Czech Republic, Korea, Panama, South Africa, and the United States.

Dominican Republic’s debut in Chinese Taipei, in the opening round, is scheduled for Friday, July 25 against the Czech Republic.
