Punta Cana – Professional golfer Wolmer Murillo won the championship at the seventh stop of the Canita Mastercard Banreservas Tour, an event that took place this weekend at the prestigious Dye Fore course in Casa de Campo. Murillo demonstrated his skill on the course by recording rounds of 66, 70, and 69 strokes, totaling 205 hits. His performance secured him first place in the competition. The second place went to the amateur Rhadamés Peña, who completed the tournament with a total of 212 strokes, after signing rounds of 69, 72 and 71. Anthony García placed third, with a total of 213 strokes. The Dominican Golf Federation (Fedogolf) technically supervised the tournament, which was supported by important sponsors. This victory marks a milestone for Wolmer Murillo, as it is the first time he has conquered a stop on the Canita Tour. This triumph allows him to move up to second place in the ranking, which grants three spots for the Corales PGA Championship.
