David Jones García Shines in the NBA Summer League

Las Vegas – Dominican player David Jones García continues to demonstrate his talent in the NBA Summer League. In an exciting match, García scored 28 points in the San Antonio Spurs’ victory over the Utah Jazz with a final score of 93-91 in overtime.

The match, held at the Thomas & Mack Center, kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. Jones, who started the game from the bench, was key to the Spurs’ triumph. In addition to his points, he contributed with six rebounds, four assists and a steal in just 27 minutes of play. His performance positions him as one of the most outstanding revelations among international players in this edition of the tournament.

The end of the game was electrifying. After a dunk by Kyle Filipowski that tied the score, Iley Minix secured the victory with an impressive buzzer-beater after receiving a pass from the sideline.

Filipowski, from the Jazz, was the figure of the match with 35 points, 11 rebounds and 11-19 in field goals, but his efforts were not enough to avoid the defeat.

On another front, Koby Brea had a less prominent performance with two points and three rebounds in the Phoenix Suns’ defeat against the Sacramento Kings, with a score of 94-76.

Chris Mañón, also Dominican, had a notable performance with 13 points, five rebounds, three blocks and three assists playing from the bench for the Golden State Warriors, who defeated the Jazz with a score of 103-93 on Sunday.
