SANTO DOMINGO – The Leones del Escogido announced their official roster for the 2026 Caribbean Series, which will be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, from February 1st to 7th at the Pan American Stadium in Jalisco. The Dominican team, after winning their 18th championship in the Dominican League, will present a combination of key players and experienced reinforcements.

Radhamés Liz The Lions will seek their sixth Caribbean Series crown, after their victories in 1988, 1990, 2010, 2012 and 2025, seeking the 24th title for the Dominican Republic in this regional tournament. Part of the delegation traveled to Guadalajara on Friday from the Las Américas International Airport, while the rest of the team will do so on Saturday. The Leones del Escogido’s debut will be on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. (Dominican Republic time) against the Charros de Jalisco (Red Mexico). In the Caribbean Series 2026, the Tomateros de Culiacán (Green Mexico), the Cangrejeros de Santurce (Puerto Rico), and the Federales de Chiriquí (Panama) will also compete.
