“Checo” Pérez Reveals the Biggest Challenge in His Formula 1 Career
Mexican driver Sergio “Checo” Pérez has shared his experiences in Formula One, highlighting the challenge of being teammates with Max Verstappen at Red Bull. In an interview on the Cracks Podcast, Pérez described this stage as “the most difficult job” of his career. Pérez explained that, although he was part of one of the most competitive teams, the project’s focus was clearly on Verstappen, which generated constant pressure. Looking ahead, “Checo” Pérez is preparing for a new stage by joining the Cadillac team, which will debut in Formula One in 2026.
