BHD and MLB Celebrate 20 Years of Partnership with Young Prospects
The collaboration between Banco BHD and Major League Baseball (MLB) reaches two decades this year, marking a significant milestone in the development of young baseball talents in the Dominican Republic.
In a recent event, the new prospects signed by the MLB academies in the country were welcomed. During the celebration, their incorporation into the specialized training program of Banco BHD was announced.
This program, taught by experts from Banco BHD, focuses on developing social, emotional, and administrative skills in young baseball players.
This program reaffirms the responsibility assumed by both organizations with the personal and professional development of young talents in national sports and represents a commitment to accompany the new generations of baseball players. Baseball is not just a game; it is a tool for change that contributes to the social development of our country.

Since its inception, the program has evolved, moving from financial education talks to a comprehensive value proposition. Currently, it includes a 15-hour training plan and encourages the participation of parents, coaches, and relatives.
To date, the joint initiative has impacted more than 8,600 prospects, promoting a responsible vision of their economic and social future. Both new prospects and first-year players participate in the program.
