Ogando also pointed out that Mariotti has been a strategic ally for the province in times of difficulty, facilitating management and economic support for sports and community development projects. Likewise, Ogando indicated that a significant part of the sports infrastructure and connectivity works that Monte Plata has today are linked to the impetus given in those years. He highlighted that the transformation process was strengthened from 2006, with the celebration of the National Games, a stage that he described as decisive for the increase in investments and improvements in the province, during the period in which Mariotti served as governor. Ogando affirmed that many of the sports facilities, streets, roads, and bridges that exist today in Monte Plata would not have been possible without the support of Mariotti, calling to value with gratitude the contribution of those who have contributed to the progress of the community. Finally, the president of the Bayaguana Sports Union defined this recognition as an exercise in historical memory and justice, and invited those present to applaud the work carried out by Charlie Mariotti in favor of the growth and development of the province over the years.Whenever a need arose, he was always willing to help immediately.
