Margo Martin, communications advisor to the former president, shared a photograph of the meeting at the US presidential headquarters, announcing the news.

However, a video circulating on digital platforms shows Rodríguez conversing with Pam Bondi, Secretary of Justice, and Scott Bessent, Secretary of the Treasury, inside government facilities.
Rodríguez, of Dominican descent and a prominent figure in Major League Baseball history, currently works as a businessman and investor in the sports and business fields.
